Most Common Heat Treatment Used…
Heat remediation for bed bugs… Heat can be applied on a small scale such as a steam or clothes dryer, or on a large scale such as heating the entire structure/unit. We're writing about the latter way of applying heat to an entire residence in this educational article, heat remediation. Heat remediation is the most commonly used type of bed bug heat treatment as well as the most effective.

Don't assume all bed bug heat treatment companies are the same…
Bed bug exterminator. Heat remediation is the fastest way to eradicate bed bug infestations but it is more expensive upfront. That being said most chemical bed bug treatments will end up costing the same amount or more in the long run as a bed bug heat treatment. The most widely used heat bed bug treatment available today from your local bed bug exterminator is a heat remediation treatment. Ask before assuming that any pest management company performs bed bug heat remediation treatment services though because not all pest control companies approach bed bug infestations the same as we do at Dead Bug Walkin LLC. We use only bed bug heat remediation equipment to eradicate bed bug infestations in the Tulsa OK Metro area plus Northeast Oklahoma but not all pest managment firms or individuals will do so.

What Is Bed Bug Heat Remediation?
A Bed Bug Heat Remediation Treatment consists of using high temperatures with fans that circulate clean dry heat from indoor or outdoor heaters with temperatures up to 150 degrees F to kill bed bugs and their eggs. Heat remediation is proven to be the most effective way to kill bed bugs at all stages of life including eggs in just one appointment or treatment. Heating an entire structure or residence at once is called Heat Remediation. Heat remediation can be used for much more than bed bugs though. Many Flood damage restoration services use Heat Remediation to kill mold and dry the interior and exterior walls, ceiling and floors all at once. If you have mold in your home our Heat Bed Bug Treatment will kill any mold that would be in areas being treated with Heat Remediation by us.

Best Bed Bug Heat Treatment…
Not all heat treatments are equal. The best way to heat treat is by getting the heat to all the bed bugs and eggs at once and getting them hot enough for long enough. This can be done best in two efficient ways, either by heating up a home in sections or heating it up room by room. Most heat treatments are done with electric, gas or diesel heaters. Electric takes longer to get to a kill temp than gas or diesel heaters do. Getting to a kill temp quickly is necessary if you do not want the possibility of bed bugs getting away from the heat. Surprise is our ally. We use indirect fired diesel heaters that help us to quickly get to the kill temp and push clean hot air only into the home with 0% of fumes going into the home.
